WHERE I STAND

about the project

Over the past few months, I found myself drifting away from photography. Instead of taking still images, I kept recording short, 30-second clips of life unfolding — no camera movement, no direction. Just standing still and letting things happen in front of me.

Eventually, I noticed a pattern. Every clip was taken from the same approach — fixed position, no interference. That’s where the name “where I stand” came from. It felt honest. Just me, in one spot, letting the moment happen without a storyboard or a script.

For each city — Hong Kong, Macau, and Stockholm (presented in this order), I edited together a short video using a few seconds from each clip.

about me

My creative journey started in the music industry, producing my own tracks that ended up being played at festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, while also running a music label and a creative agency.

After a short time in the fashion industry, where I picked up most of the retouching skills I use today, I joined IKEA. Over the past seven years I’ve worked on the world renowned catalogue, major collections, and dozens of global launches. I’ve also been part of IKEA’s flagship leadership programme and contributed to projects around social entrepreneurship and inclusion.
